I'M AARON ANTONINI, & I AM A PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL CATCHER IN THE ST LOUIS CARDINALS ORGANIZATION.

Growing up, I was always a chunky kid, and because I wasn’t very fast, my coaches made me become a catcher. Since the first time I put on catching gear, I fell in love with the position. I love being involved in every play, being able to steal strikes, being in control of the game, blocking baseballs, throwing runners out and, even love getting hit by foul tips- because it means that I am playing.

Catcher has been my primary position since I was 7 years old, and throughout the years I’ve learned so much. I have had the privilege of being mentored by some of the greatest catchers to walk the earth, including Yadier Molina. Even as an elite catcher at the professional level, I am continuously being mentored to master my craft.

I have had to re-learn and master good habits from being taught incorrectly at a young age. It is my mission to help the next generation of young catchers be taught the right way the first time and catch like a pro.
